End of Summer Season Round Up
The summer season at CDP was a whirlwind of fun, learning, and community spirit! Over the past few months, we hosted a variety of camps, workshops, and special events that brought together participants of all ages. Here’s a look back at the highlights:
4 Weeks of Summer Camp
Our summer camps were a fantastic success, running for four weeks and offering a diverse range of activities. From arts and crafts to outdoor adventures and team-building games, each week was packed with excitement. Campers had the chance to make new friends, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. Whether it was exploring nature, engaging in creative projects, or simply having a blast in the sun, our camps were the perfect blend of education and entertainment for all ages.
Little Explorers Program
Our Little Explorers program was another highlight, designed specifically for our youngest participants. Each session was an adventure, with themes that included nature exploration, sensory play, and storytelling. The children’s curiosity and excitement were infectious, and it was wonderful to see them grow and discover the world around them in such a hands-on way. Little Explorers is continuing into the Autumn!
Weekly Workshops
We kept the energy high all summer with workshops that catered to a wide range of interests. Each week brought something new, from science experiments and art classes to fossils and dinosaurs and exploring the woodland. These interactive and engaging workshops allowed participants to dive deep into their passions, try new things, and express themselves creatively.
New Activities: Mountain Biking and Stand Up Paddle Boarding
This summer, we introduced two exciting new activities: Mountain Biking with Aisling and Stand – Up Paddle Boarding. These adventures were a huge hit, offering participants the chance to challenge themselves and try something new. The mountain biking trails provided thrilling rides, while the stand up paddle boarding sessions allowed for a refreshing and fun way to enjoy the water. These additions were a fantastic way to add more variety and excitement to our summer lineup.
Dublin Stake Group
We were thrilled to host the Dublin Stake Group, who brought a vibrant energy to the Park. Their involvement added an extra layer of joy and camaraderie to our summer programming. The group participated in a variety of activities, from team challenges to outdoor adventures, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Savvi Credit Union Funday
One of the standout events of the season was the Savvi Funday! Staff of Savvi Credit Union along with their families and friends joined us for a day filled with laughter, games, and activities. With face painting, Raven Haven Aviaries, The National Retile Zoo, Nature Trails and all the activities the Park has to offer, Savvi Funday was all about fun and togetherness. The Park was full of laughter and excitement the whole day!

A big thank you to everyone who came to the park over the Summer months and took on our activities and participated in our Summer Camps and Workshops. To our amazing staff who always ensure the safety of each customer while making sure their day is enjoyable and memorable. The enthusiasm and involvement from both staff and customers made this season one to remember. We’re already looking forward to more adventures and fun in the coming year.
