Last week we were so delighted to join the cream of Irish Social Enterprise for RETHINK IRELAND’S first ever virtual Social Enterprise Development Fund Showcase.
Over 500 people joined the event from all over the world, from Roscommon to Rosslare and all the way over to Peru! The event even trended on twitter with the #SEDFund
We were pleased to be able to tell our story, a story about what community can do when it comes together to create change. The Discovery Park is looking forward to its next phase of creating social impact, looking at how we can inspire and educate around the topic of biodiversity, eco therapies and carbon recapture. Taking part in the Social Enterprise Development Fund helped us to navigate how we might gear up our social impact for years to come. The accelerator programme enabled us to interrogate and examine our future strategy with a wide range of professional supports. The Social Enterprise Development Fund 2021 is now open for applications until March 5th 2021.
