The Elf Village is now open! This is a simple event designed to encourage families to come out for a winter walk in the forest this Christmas season. We encourage exercise and families spending time together outdoors.
What to expect – Park in our car park (there is a fee for this €2 or €4)
- You will then walk up to the elf village (lighted with festoon lights on the journey up) It takes about 15 minutes to walk. See map below
- Once at the elf village you will see we have the village lit up in a very Christmassy way. The kids adventure activities are open if you wish to go on them, and these are charged at €8 for both the junior woodland adventure course and bouncing nets. They can be pre-booked on www.discoverypark.ie/booking if you wish but its not necessary.
- The Canopy Cafe is open for hot drinks and sweet treats.
- We have a small “Elf on the Shelf” scavenger hunt that you can get your clue sheet from the arts and crafts tent.
- We have a little colouring table for kids also.
This is a free event (except for car parking and adventure activities) and no booking is required. The opening times are as follows:
