Savvi Funday at Castlecomer Discovery Park
We were thrilled to welcome back Savvi Credit Union Group for the second year in a row for their Staff Funday! The park was buzzing with excitement as we opened our doors to the families and friends of the organisation’s staff, creating a day filled with adventure, fun, and memorable moments.
The group made the most of our park’s wide range of activities. From the adrenaline-pumping Skywalk Challenge, Octagon, and Irelands Longest Zipline to the serene boat rides and nature trails, there was something for everyone. Kids and adults alike enjoyed exploring the Junior Woodland, bouncing around on the Bouncy Nets, and testing their aim with some friendly competition in Archery.
Adding to the excitement, we had some incredible special guests: the National Reptile Zoo and Raven Haven Aviaries brought the wild right to us, delighting everyone with fascinating animal encounters. For those looking to test their skills, orienteering courses and team challenges offered a perfect mix of competition and teamwork.
The fun didn’t stop there! Our one of our domes transformed into a cinema room for those wanting to relax and enjoy a movie, while younger guests lined up for Face Painting and some Arts and Crafts to add a splash of colour to their day.
It was a fantastic day filled with laughter and adventure. We’re grateful to Savvi Credit Union Group for choosing our park again this year as well as The National Reptile Zoo and Raven Haven Aviaries for joining us on the day!
