Exciting After School Adventures at Castlecomer Discovery Park this January
Get ready for an exhilarating journey of discovery as Castlecomer Discovery Park unveils its brand-new after-school programs, set to kick off on January 23rd and 24th! Aimed at providing a perfect blend of education and adventure, these one-day-a-week sessions promise an unforgettable experience for children of all ages.
Program Details
Days and Age Groups
- Tuesdays are dedicated to the younger explorers, ages 5 – 7, while Wednesdays cater to the 8 – 10 age group.
- Activities will be tailored to each age group’s interests and developmental needs, ensuring a customised and engaging experience.
Duration
- Younger age groups can immerse themselves in the fun from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
- Older adventurers have an extended session, with activities running from 4:00pm until 6:30 PM.
Activities
Castlecomer Discovery Park has curated a diverse range of activities to spark curiosity and creativity:
- Adventure Activities: Challenge young minds and bodies with exciting outdoor adventures.
- Bushcraft: Foster survival skills and a deeper connection with nature.
- Music Making: Unleash the artistic talents within through the joy of music.
Session Blocks
- The after-school programs will be structured in 9-week blocks, allowing participants to delve deep into each theme and skill set.
- The block starting on January 23rd and 24th and finishing up on March 19th. and 20th, while the second block starts on April 9th and 10th and finishing the June 4th and 5th. These blocks promise continuous growth and development for your child.
Cost
- 5 – 7 years €65 for 5 weeks or €110 for 9 weeks.
- 8 – 10 years €75 for 5 weeks or €130 for 9 weeks.
